Certainty 02:33
We can bring no joy today but I think it's coming soon We might as well relax and play might as well fly to the moon Don't let it get you down You suspected this, had to After all you're not the only one We all make this journey with you I am certain I am certain of this I am certain We all make this journey with you Let's all of us go out dancing Let's shake and sweat, sweat and shake Get down to some serious romancing It's after all the best, and the only bet I am certain I am certain of this I am certain Might as well fly to the moon I am certain I am certain of this I am certain We all make this journey with you

Is it...? 04:09
I've got this thing in my hand, it can create I've got this thing in my hand, it can destroy I've got this thing in my hand, it can create I've got this thing in my hand, it can destroy I just want to understand, it is a tool? Is it a toy? I want to make it work for me I want to, break the code I've got to, break the code I want to I've got to We've got to. I've got this thing in my hand, it can create I've got this thing in my hand, it can destroy I've got this thing in my hand, it can create I've got this thing in my hand, it can destroy I just want to make us see I hear it scream, I feel it sing I cannot control this thing I want to, break the code I've got to, break the code I want to I've got to We've got to. I've got this thing in my hand, it can create I've got this thing in my hand, it can destroy I've got this thing in my hand, it can create I've got this thing in my hand, it can destroy Is it? Is that the one? Is it? Do I go too far? Is it? Is that the one? Have you seen this?

Naked Claim 04:52
Wonder Desire Sweet breath Dead liife And the moon, it stole his soul Bourbon Late night Clear mind Released On a crystal spirit road Shatter Destroy Deny His right These are all the things we know All these roads lead to you and what else could I do just deny this naked claim yea yea this was never me (repeat) I think you know (repeat)
4.
Make Up 04:11
How can we say the world is turning? When most of us are standing still How can a mother say 'I don't know what it wants' when a baby's screaming How can you say you've got it all when you lie alone each night Yes I smoke but there is no screen Yes I choke but you don't hear me now no you don't hear me now but you don't hear me know Where's the make up? On your face or in your soul? Can you tell me? I don't think so Don't wanna hear your negativity when you're nowhere near me Don't want to hear your voice when you don't want to talk to me Can you see me through your tunnel vision? (repeat)
5.
Coping Saw 04:08
I have tried to move around you I have tried to talk about you I bought a coping saw I have tried to do without you I have lied to, and about you I bought a coping saw but it doesn't help And my room, it stinks of you (repeat) I bought a coping saw I'm not a coping saw (repeat) *did you get a receipt?*

about

Eatpeople is the 3rd release from Colourblind. Recorded, as usual, live to analogue in the studio with the desire to capture the energy and honesty of a typical live gig in Sydney, of which there were many. Launched to a full house at the Excelsior in Glebe Sydney and receiving a rave review in the local street press (Drum Magazine). This recording also reflects the change in sound from previous releases due to the absence of saxophonist Paul Sadler and Keyboardist Dudley Bastian and the introduction of the heavy bass riffing of Pablo Chico replacing Dave 'rabbit' Willmot. Resulting in a more guitar driven pop-rock sound.
